Redemption, p. 37

I'm sorry, I said I wouldn't spend so much time on these to get them up faster. (_{Lol she said "get them up."}) So I rush the line art and then go and spend like a week on toning. Fail.

Panel 3 is supposed to illustrate him sitting down but I'm not sure if you can tell that clearly.

I tried to make it look like he's facing something very bright in the center of the cave without that something being shown yet (but of course we all know what it is). I'm rather proud of the highlights on his metal details as I feel they convey this quite nicely. I particularly like the tip of the boot of his outstretched leg, and the inner side of his gauntlet, which, if you look closely, reflects the color of his clothing and cloak. ^_^ Or, at least, it's meant to. I probably shouldn't have shaded his face so much, and used more shadows on his bandana from his bangs.

His pants are epic fail, however. Those folds don't make sense at all. I think I castrated him. There's not enough room in there, ifyaknowwhatimean.

If you were watching my scraps in April, the image of him sitting in panel 4 may be familiar to you. Yep, that's from a sketch four months old.

Rock texture is from CGtextures.com.

The sound effect font is Annifont, except for the second "shuf," which is actually just by my hand.
